No, this is me in a nutshell
“Help! I’m in a nutshell!”
February 4th, 2008
I had this whole past weekend off and it was so nice. It has been quite a while since I actually had a real person’s weekend off, Saturday and Sunday. And of course it was all for the Superbowl, but, well, we all know what happened there. My official stand on it: I didn’t actually get all that upset. Bottom line, we didn’t play well enough to win. We had a great season and you can’t take that away. As for Eli Manning and the Giants, I say good for them. There are so many other teams who I would have rather not lost to, is he as good as his brother? No. Is he as good as Ben Roethlisberger was his Superbowl year? Ben isn’t even as good as he was during his Superbowl year. Did the Giants achieve greatness. Only history will tell. Most years I kind of go into depression after football season, but this year is a little different. I think we need some time apart.
Mike and I had date night on Saturday. Actually it started on Saturday afternoon when he took me to “his” stylist and I got my hair cut. Yes, that’s right. Should I worry? He has a stylist and he quotes Tim Gunn from Project Runway (a show he refused to watch with me until his bff at work told him that it was a good show; bff is a man
Anyhow. My hair came out awesome, I must say and it is the haircut I’ve been asking stylists to give me for almost 5 years but never could quite get. Love it. Then we went for dinner at Firebird’s and it’s a great place to go because the food is good and you know exactly what you are going to get, no surprises but that’s a good thing sometimes. It’s at my fave shopping place on the planet, La Encantada, and I even got Mike to go into the Coach store with me and now I want this

But that’s neither here nor there. We had a phenomenal date night, and it didn’t end with me acting like a rock star pissing someone off, or starting a fight with Mike for some pent up aggression reasons. It was just plain wonderful.
I saw SuperBad for the first time last night. Hilar!
I’m going to make eye glass chains and I’m going to rock one soon. I’m not kidding, look for them soon in my shop. And you think I won’t do it. They have actually been requested.
And now because I don’t do this and I should more often:

That coach purse is cool.
I’m rolling my eyes at all the people today who have been telling me that they’re “depressed” about the game.
Your blog looks so pretty! I love it!

Hooray for excellent date nights! That purse is making me think of chocolate mints for some reason.
